Keen to catch a mackeral

Anyone getting any yet?

When I went to the Pine with Yakker a few months ago he said it was coming up to the right time of year to head out to sea and catch them somewhere up the Sunshine coast. Said it was a nice easy beach launch from a sheltered bay also which is a bonus for a beginner like me

Keen to go as I haven't taken the Espri out on to the briny blue yet apart from paddling to Peel. Also keen to test out my new TSS4 & 8ft live fibre rod that I have no use for but bought it anyway, as we do.

I wouldn't be putting a TSS4 on my 8 inch rod
Well at least it's got a lubricated drag.
Hi Wayne
I'm keen to chase a mackeral from the kayak. At this stage not to far off shore. And I liked the sound of the easy launch. Not up to Bills surf launches. I could blame age but he's got a couple of years on me. haha
John
"Wet drag" -- is that when it rains on the Sydney Mardi Gras?
Bwa hahahahahahahahaha .
Now , what were you blokes talking about
