In the lastest issue of Freshwater Fishing there is a feature on fishing from Yaks.

They mentioned brands I have not heard of before however Viking and Hobie did get a section.

Those Condors Pluss are a weird looking kayak, but they must be selling them as their been around for 25 years.

The Pelican range which is made from that Ram X stuff look alright with the Pelican Castaway 116 maybe up to scratch for our style of fishing.

Bic Sport, not really heard of them before do they rate?

Do magazines like this one know about us or do they just jump on the bandwagon when we make our sport popular? I mean this Forum.

when did this issue come out. i saw one in bcf the other day but nothing in it on yaks,
must have been last months edition,

is there anything worthwhile in there, might grab a copy

G day Sel, There was another post about this awhile ago...apologies to the thread starter I can't remember...but it made me have a look at that issue. Mostly I devour Freshwater Fishing Articles as a great read backed up with sweet images.....and I've picked up some nice tips aswell. But that Yaks and Canoes Review was a big dissappointment which really missed a great opportunity. :roll:

Some people found it dissapointing, but i think it was great for someone just getting into kayaking...

Its a quality magazine yes, but i think you will find that with the Canoe / Kayak issue, companys would have / may have been approached before the article with a Media package offered that would have involved a financial figure.

Some companys just plain dont like having to pay for exposure :?
