Kayak storeage cart
Been a bit chilly for fishing here over the last couple of weeks, so, using an idea I saw on the Hobie Kayak forum, I made this stand, which I found saved a lot of room in the garage, and also put all my gear in the one spot. How often have we arrived at the beach and left something behind?
The base is a piece of forming ply 1200 x 1000mm with the rest as per pictures. Four rotating castors make it easy to move around, and there is a place for everything. I can shove it up against the wall and it takes up very little room.
The yak unloads onto its wheels, you just put them in the holes and roll it over onto them, loading it is the reverse.
