Howdy All,

Ive been hearing lately that Jumpinpin is excellent fishing. Is it suitable for a kayak? Has anyone got any good reports lately? And where exactly is Jumpinpin?

Gday Kenny. Jumpinpin is a great spot for kayaks and well worth the effort, heaps of boats to be wary of though. It can be a bit hard to get onto fish at times, but most trips produce flathead and whiting. The most direct access to the mouth is from Cabbage Tree Point or Jacobs Well. Theres a good chance ill be heading there on Wednesday (public holiday), but will probably fish some of the creeks as the tides are wrong to do a trip out to the mouth. Ill put a post up here if its definate and your welcome to come along.
