I am a new contributor but a long time lurker, due greatly to the info picked up on the forum, I am now the proud owner of a OK Prowler13. Picked it up Saturday and wind or no wind I was taking it out today!
I paddled around the petrie end of the Pine river out of the wind. How happy was I being the first time fishing in the kayak and picking up a small flathead and a bream on her maiden voyage!
My first thoughts were "How long has this been going on??"
so hopefully you will be seeing more of me in the trip reports section!

is there any instructions on the forum hereabouts that explains how to post multiple pics on the same post?
and ummm what about how to put up an avatar etc. I am a bit of a gumby when it comes to this stuff
thanks Jack

Thanks Breambo, the lure is a little timber Tilsan , they are really well made lures , I used to use the bigger ones up north on barra and I guess I use lures that I have confidence in. Have heard a lot about these SX40's though, whats your thoughts on them?

Welcome Jack. Nice looking yak and a great start to yakfishing.

Looks like you got the avatar sorted. To post multiple pics, click the Attach button after locating each pic. Don't press Post until you've Attached them all.

If you put a general location indicator in your profile, doesn't have to be specific, then others will have an idea where you are and some incentive to tee up a trip with you. Also, creating a signature with your yak and any other details you want to share will help those of us with short memories

Welcome Jack

Great to see another Northsider yak fisho.... into the fold of stealth fishing.
Your local playground is Huge. I expect you will be out on the reefs off Scarborough at some time, landing the huge snapper. See you around for sure

Cheers Andybear

Great first up effort Jack, and good to see all posting details running smooth. Gee I like the look of your kayak, looks like she`ll go anywhere. Congrats on the first up success although you do understand with first up success like that the fish weren`t the only things hooked! Steve.
