Came across this US review of the new Hobie Revolution by a guy named Apalach, (who seems to be the bees knees at fitting out Hobies) and it looks very nice indeed. I am wondering what it will cost when it hits our shores?

What a top review from an absolute legendary Hobie paddler/ pedaler from wayback. I followed the mods and trickups by Appalach for ages before buying my Hobie. The new revo sounds like a sleek fast Outback, but I`m afraid my gunwhale trays are far too important to me to trade for a bit more speed. That view of the Revos underside is almost unrecognisable compared to the Outback. Steve.

I've touched it... I went round to see HobieVic and he'd just unloaded a Revolution off the truck...

Needless to say, I've paid deposit and am awaiting delivery quite anxiously!

I think the official colour is called Papaya... so it;s yellow...

Thanks to Scott for actually trusting me with a knife too, and letting me tear off all the packing... :)

Be sure to post pics when you have taken delivery and set it up Ivan.
