Hey guys
I am really looking forward to getting to know you all and kitting out whichever kayak I buy. I have been reading your website for a few months now but never joined because I don't have a kayak. Four of my friends do though and I figure I am missing out on too many guy trips without having one. I aready have a 10ft tinnie with a 3.3hp on it and love fishing out of that. Have been fishing my whole life especially when I was younger growing up in Mackay, every day after school was either spent fishing or playing soccer.
Three of my mates have Wavedance Calypso's (one is Squidgie off this website) and another has a Viking Nemo. I am thinking about getting a Viking Nemo as a starter and I can't wait to get one and get it kitted out for fishing. I like making and inventing things. I had a 4.5mtr Swiftcraft that was just the bare hull when I got it. Fitted false floor and casting deck and centre console before taking it out once and deciding it was too hard to launch on my own. Hence the reason I have a 10footer now. So I think a kayak will suit me down to a tee.
Sites like this are great I am also a member of three other fishing sites and have gained and given a lot of information over the years so hopefully I can contribute here.
See you on the water.
