Hi Guys

I've been reading the site for a while and finaly taken the plunge. Yes I'm in the kayak business but please dont hold that against me because I was an angler first.

Anyone got any fish news in the area? I've been out a few times lately, including this morning and there are heaps of bait fish and gannets but I havent found any of my favorite sambos or anything else for that matter.

Hi scott, and welcome to the best kayak fishing forum in oz. Great to have you on board as there are a fair few Hobie nuts within the ranks. I`m sure we met on Good Friday this year when I made one of the best purchases of my life!! Good luck with the fishing and if you ever want to target Gummies in Westernport just PM me to plan a trip. Steve.
Yeah welcome to the forum Scott, good to have you on board :)
Do you ever hit the squid around the frankston reefs? Jason Day seems to always be catching them in every report! Been wanting to have a go for a while
Unfortunately, due to the change in ownership of this web site and the lack of response by the owners to my requests to remove my email address from all administrative-level notifications and functionality, I have decided to remove my posts on AKFF. Thank you for the great times, the fantastic learning experiences and the many many fish. If you are desperate for the old content of this particular post, it is available below base64 encoded and bzip2 compressed.

Promised land! Is that what the Frankston Boys and Dandy Boys have been fighting over all these years?

Declaration of interest: Born in Dandenong, raised in Noble Park, own a house in Frankston North

Oh yeah, welcome Vic
Goodaye Scott, welcome to the forum mate.

Catch ya Scott
Welcome aboard Scott
Thanks for the welcolme guys.

Thanks for the fead back Steve. I love your Yak mods particularly the rocket launchers. I'm planning an extra seat for my 2 year old to fit in the rod holders the same way.

I dont go looking for the squid myself but I know they are there currently, Brett from the local tackle shop got some a couple days ago. Snapper and heaps of pinkies soon but I need to fill in the wait with those sambos that havent realy shown up yet

The reason the Dandy boys were always put out was they could never get a park at the boat ramp. The Frankston boys used to stake it out first.
