thought i should say g'day
been following the forum for quite a while
had my kayak 12 months (viking tempo)
i chose my kayak because of its carrying capacity (i more than half fill it's 250 kg capacity) and stability
i fish the local dams with some success
love the noosa river, maroochy and have been upside down in the surf at rainbow and north shore beaches more times than i care to remember.
like everbody else i dont get out as often as id like but will see you guys

good to hear from you guys thanks for the welcome.red,the temps in tmba are pretty mild for this time of year,although went fishing in cooby a couple of weeks ago with my 11yr old daughter and crunched through the ice on the edge of the dam took 2 hrs to thaw out,3 nice golden perch and a great time made it all worthwhile.cooby is at 20% so to far to the water for sailboats.yes carnival is getting close it was almost cancelled because of the drought,its just got to rain soon.
