i live on biggera creek on the gold coast and was wondering where the majority of you guys live?

i have a viking "tempo fisherman" kayak it is realy stable, i can stand up and run from end to end no problem.

where is the best kayak fishing is around the coast.

the canal i live on comes out straight acros from the seaway.

i have been fishing these waters for years from a boat but would like to know some locations that i can catch some good fish from my kayak.

I'm at Carrara and know your creek quite well as I used to put my old boat on the Doornbos slipway in Biggera Creek.
It would be worth your while going upstream there and fish up into the canal system through to Runaway Bay.
The Kyber Pass up to your left on the broadwater, between the islands west of the deep hole is also good drifting area over the flats.
Do you have transport or only paddle from home?

The Deep Hole is a name from the past about 1km NE of Biggera Creek entrance and is not obvious by depth.

I'll draft some info re the Deep Hole area and PM it over the weekend, or PM your phone number to me and I'll ring you and explain which may be easier, which ever option suits mate
