G'Day Everyone,

Got my first Yak, Wavedance Kayak, in '04 at the fishing expo. "Cut my teeth" fishing mainly Narrabeen Lakes in NSW, where i caught two of my three PB's.
Bought my Hobie at this years fishing expo when earlier in the year i discovered, much to my amazement and moreso my friends, that i wasn't the only one who thought fishing from a kayak was a good idea. I guess i was surprised because the entire time i fished at Narrabeen Lakes a never saw anyone else fishing from a kayak and people would ask quizically"...you fish from a kayak?" with a stunned look.
Since then i've been concentrating on Pittwater with the Hobie, although have only had it out a handful of times, many more to come i hope.
I've throughly enjoyed reading the posts on the forum, its a fantastic wealth of information that i hope in the future i can contribute to.

Only had the yak on Narrabeen Lagoon a couple of times, although I used to fish it land-based before I got a yak. Plenty of good spots that are close by. Feel free to join one of our posted trips
