Just wondering what are the general habits of Freshies, as in do they tend to remain in the 1 area or do they move around within their water systems?

Good question, each species have their own unique habit, and probably changes for fish in lakes/dams/rivers....

Fishnet.com.au has a fish library and provides some good info.

Are you looking at a particular fish?
