hey guys,
im off to the mountains next week and wondered what surface lures people have had good success with. My most productive lure has been the large jointed jitterbug,

i just wondered if there are any others worth swimming, i heard the mudeye depth charge is ok.

any ideas,

I only had the one, and used it once, and no luck, but it's the halco night crawler, bib glows in the dark! it's my only popper (for cod) and I will persist with it too!

Chris caught his big cod on a Mudeye Depth Charge, in the green colour.

Ben, check out the Tailormade Surface breakers, they are supposedly very good for cod.

Anyway my favourite cod lure is the Ozark Mtn Woodchopper, only surface lure ive caught cod on !

Wayne I think anyone who is new to the forum will find an old thread just as useful and enjoyable to read as any of the more recent ones, and also entitled to add their own comments if they wish....think everyone benefits when compared to the post pruning format of past years....and with the topic heading showing a posting date its easy to ignore old ones if that way inclined
