Hi guys, Am down in Mooloola visiting the inlaws and just called in to check out Ewan Maddock Dam - Magnificent is the only word I can think of to describe it :shock:

Does anybody know if there are fish in it?.

Yeah mate, it's got quite range of species, Bass, yellas, saratoga, spangled perch and there have been reports of people releasing barra in there illegally. There have been quite a few reports on ausfish in the last few months, do a search form Ewan Maddock in the fresh water reports. The great thing about this little dam is that there's no powered boats allowed, so yaks rule!

Joday, mate, had another look yesterday. What a top spot - no stink boats allowed - beautiful shady picnic areas with barbeques and only a couple of Ks from my mum-inlaws place

The guys on the Sunshine Coast should really consider checking this one out I think.
