Stopped quickly on the way home to check out the river last night. I usually carry a rod and some lures in my car. Just this once I had nothing on board and guess what?? Bait balls on the surface getting smashed all over the place. Raced home and grabbed my gear by the time I got back the tide had stopped running and I got one cast as the action stopped. AAAAAAAAGGGGGGHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
To make matters worse I lost a new jackall to a snag because I had to have one last cast. Now I've got to get wet at low tide this afternoon to get the bugger back.
Just got wet for nothing, couldn't find the bugger. I now smell like the Pine River and a client has just called and just has to drop by and have a chat. So much for a clear diary. Might have to stand outside for the meeting.
Hey Andy,
Dont sweat it, everyone wears a mixing bowl on their head sooner or later. By the way you should have seen the action last night, just bust ups everywhere. It was like watching footage of the sharks herding up the pillies and then slicing through them only on a slightly smaller scale. The action was limited to the area between the ramp and road bridge if you know where I mean.
