I have finally got around to posting some pics of my yak. I recently finished some mods on the yak. I have installed an eagle sounder 168, light and 12V power for an aerator. The battery box is waterproof and has 3 illuminated switches (all fused) - check this thread for more details:

I have not taken my dog out as yet but he loves climbing all over it when I get it out. Do any of you take your dogs out?
Anyway, I love this thing and take it with me as often as I can when I travel around NSW for work (preferably the North coast). I will be heading up that way soon for 2 weeks and love to get a fish in early in the mornings - especially The Entrance and Port Macquarie (it always turns it on for me).
It is really easy to load and unload and is the perfect size for my car (Toyota Corolla hatch) and body weight. If I was heavier than 80kg I would have gone for the Outback.
She moves quite quick in the water and is even stable enough for me to stand up if required (calm water). I love the pedal system as it allows me to travel long distances. It also gives me the freedom to have my hands free to catch more fish (or untangle line)
I refuse to use my tinnie any more and will sell it in Summer - kayak fishing is the way to go. Its been great to catch up with some of you and the advice and tips you learn from this website is awesome - See you all on the water 8)
