custom kayaks you say could be one off those doggie guys on line thanks for the warning what did you order
A Crack Of Dawn kayak cushion, I have since found they actually link to this site and have a proper web address as well.

http://www.customkayaks.com.au

I can't work out if it is a case of they don't know what they are doing or not so far as the guy reckons I sent him a cheque with no postage, but I actually did a direct deposit.

I think this is the guy who quoted me $300 postage on a swing to Canberra - where outerlimits (Darren) quoted me $99 postage for a quest.
you have to wonder

For anyone that is interested.

The shipping of Kayaks to a major airport is a set price the last time I checked. Shipped yaks from Perth to Hobart - Australian Air Express - I think it was $125 - Something to bear in mind.

Further: this guy is selling you stuff at a higher price then the RRP by the importer of Crack of Dawn. Anyone want to know anything PM me

Australian Air Express used to ship kayaks around Australia for $152, they now have got greedy and charge $357 for a Prowler 13, and thats anywhere in Oz.

We have to be careful who we use for our accessories and part with our hard earnt spondouleys,, if in doubt go straight to the importer, and in the case of CrackofDawn accessories it is http://www.fishyak.com.

This guy may come through, so give him a chance,, but thanks for the heads up

Hey Bremo: When did AAE change their pricing? Sent a total of 3 yaks to Hobart during Sept/Oct at the old price. Oh Well, there is always road transport.

This is not the way to deal with this issue.

Duncan - From my understanding the prices charged by custom are what COD reccomends.

Dan - check your messages on ebay.
