Gday Ian - my crate sits neatly in the rear well of my Prowler15, but is secured by some bungee cord which stops it moving around. I'm yet to find out whether it remains secured upside down :)

i use an esky and also have a bungee line over my rear tankwell which sits up over the edge / rim of the esky (theoretically) stopping it from coming loose if I capsize. I guess theres not much point if youre using a crate as if you do flip the yak, everything in the crates going to fall out anyway.??

Unfortunately, due to the change in ownership of this web site and the lack of response by the owners to my requests to remove my email address from all administrative-level notifications and functionality, I have decided to remove my posts on AKFF. Thank you for the great times, the fantastic learning experiences and the many many fish. If you are desperate for the old content of this particular post, it is available below base64 encoded and bzip2 compressed.

I usually use 2 bits of bungee cord with a quick release clip on each end, I use a crate mate style thing with a lid so my stuff cant fall out, there are clips on the outside too secure it to the deck line. I have also used cable ties with a plain crate and with crate mate thing.

Love the C-tug Red.

I use the side release buckle & strap on my swing for my crate - holds it real nice.
