Went out the other day with the setup like this, it worked a treat.

The sounder transducer is inside the yak and the battery is in the crate, the wires go up and under the seals in the front and rear hatches without any leakage

Unfortunately, due to the change in ownership of this web site and the lack of response by the owners to my requests to remove my email address from all administrative-level notifications and functionality, I have decided to remove my posts on AKFF. Thank you for the great times, the fantastic learning experiences and the many many fish. Thats great peter
What did you fashion the arch bar from or was it purchased that way.

The sounder transducer is inside the yak and the battery is in the crate, the wires go up and under the seals in the front and rear hatches
What I was going to do (when i can afford a sounder) was use the in line plug and sockets, like the ones used on RHIB's (page24 bias cat) and simialr for transducer cable when i get it down i will post the setup

Cheers Dave
