Hi All,
Not a lot to say really. Took my Single Swing out for the second time and paddled out in what started off as smooth conditions, as predicted on Sea breeze.
But not 500 metres and a swell quickly built up (around 2-3ft) and the breeze rose to around 12-15 knots. At the fishing spot X the swell was closer to 4ft at times and I was being well and truely knocked about.
So much so that parts of the reef were clearly visible  - despite my best hopes, no fish were landed. I fish a deep gutter for Snapper that has a shallow ledge over it.
My wife who shot over to Spot Y in her SOT Acadia 370 - faired a little better, but nothing landed.
The conditions were simply too rough and dangerous to continue I though, so we returned.
Still 2 paddles this week and it's only Thursday - wife is extremely encouraging about paddling - will be out somewhere on Saturday. 8) 8)
