Met up with Guy at midday. All the usual stuff. Paddled the lillypads, coves and tributaries. Almost straight away, Guy got a nice hookup but dropped a bass. Things went quiet for about another hour and I got a hookup which had a small one boatside which threw the hook.

More time passed and nothing, nothing, nothing then Guy got another good hit and dropped it. A few minutes later I had a 25cm bass in the boat ready for release.

Guy was mainly using softs. My fish hit a small el cheapo ET wide body diving plug thing in blue.

Back on deck after a month off work, its going to be cruel on Monday

It was a great day even though the bass were slow, CH is as pretty as :D
Dan was great company and the electric helped when the noreaster came up

May be better off launching at the farm at the southern end as they open until dusk, we were frustrated that we had to get off the water by just after 4pm or get locked in.

Will post some pix when I get sorted out.

regards
