Anaconda are selling Rapala CD manum 11cm & 14cm for $15 which is pretty cheap, they are only offering two colours red head and mac, which is good because red head is my favourite pattern but its a good way to stock up for the summer pelagics.

Think Anaconda must have some sort of arrangement with Rapala, as that brand is regularly discounted with different models and always just a couple at a time.
They have another members night in 3 weeks, so time to hide some dollars for a night raid again

2 questions:

Where is the Anaconda store in the GC - I've tried to find it but have no idea?

Also do they match prices and claim to be the "cheapest"?

I've had a lot great deals at A Mart Sports in Tweed where I bring in a well known fishing catalogue hold them to thier, "We'll match any price", advertising.

About 2 months ago I spent nearly $300 bucks on tackle at Amart and got around $500 worth of stuff. Will Annaconda do the same?

Dan

If you follow Southport-Nerang Rd out from Southport [heading west] pass through the traffic lights at Currumburra Rd, Ashmore, and Anaconda are about 300m on right next to Spotlight store [Spotlight is easier to see]

Like all chains they are a mixed bag with pricing, certain specials are out of the box and other prices are average; they will go 10% under competitors price with proof.

Every few weeks they have a members night [after 6pm] where a form of bedlam can occur with prices sometimes crazy if they have stock to move eg: $1 for a rod normal $60-70. you can join at the store for free, and they always have members specials at all times for selected items.
Next members night in Qld is 5/10, and Vic 6/10

I find AMart and Anaconda the pick of the chain stores but worth checking prices as they both are special motivated
