Well I might be heading to broome in September and I was wondering if anyone has been there/lives there that could offer some advice on what you can do land based, what charters to choose ect.
Thanks

Hey mate, I travelled around Australia last year and was in broome at the end of August and we fished both land based and from a charter. The land bashed fishing was from the jetty, take 5-10kg gear or even heavier. The minimum line strength would be 30lb of the jetty. We caught a fish few of the jetty but the charter was the best. We went with absolute ocean, yes they are expensive but it's well worth it. The boat is very spacious. Not too many people on board and the skipper and deckie were great, I caught a 120cm Spanish mackerel and over 20 other fish reef bashing that day,
If you have any other questions or want to know more send me a pm.
