Hi Folks,

Just a quick note to say, I have now moved from Tassie to Victoria, but still don't have a permanent address yet. I moved over early November, but unitll I can get a house to rent up around Healesville my family is still in Tassie

I am currently staying in LAng Warren abd commuting to the Lilydale area every day. Oh the joy.

I brought the Yak with me and all of my rods as I don't trust them to removalists, but forgot all of my darn reels

Anyway got to go, I am staying with my sister-in-law and she only has dial up, so I can't tie up the phone line for too long

Sorry to hear that mate. The Vic boys will look after you. Just keep an eye on Rob the Poddy Mullet. If you mimic his actions you will be pulling reds on HBs before you know it.

Catch ya Scott

Hiya John, Tassie's loss is our gain. Scott's right (two bird's with one stone), we've got some good pinkie snapper in close at the moment (bigger fella's about too). Back it up with some long snook, squid (small compared to what ya used to), whiting and other stuff to have a crack at. Probably a bit more boat traffic than ya used to, but plenty of paddlers around PPB or Westernport to catch up with. Give us a hoy for spare reels aswell, mine aren't A grade but would be fine in an emergency (just don't mention the WD40 to that Bruny fella..or I may get a goats head in the mail ).

Thanks guys,

I will see if I can get away from the in-laws this weekend, or maybe next weekend. My brother-in-law keeps dragging me off to the horse races every spare chance he gets. I think I am his excuse to get out of the house at the moment, considering I might need the favour returned one day, I will break the news gently.

Will give a call as soon as I know which weekend.

Unfortunately, due to the change in ownership of this web site and the lack of response by the owners to my requests to remove my email address from all administrative-level notifications and functionality, I have decided to remove my posts on AKFF. Thank you for the great times, the fantastic learning experiences and the many many fish. If you are desperate for the old content of this particular post, it is available below base64 encoded and bzip2 compressed.

Well done Blaen. Should be some decent water up there somewhere. And another blasted Mango to boot.

Healesville eh. Hope you know how to play the banjo mate. I note you need to be near the Lillydale area. You aren't in the wine game by any chance are you?
No Banjo's here Occy, just a Lager-phone. Banjos are more Scott's territory.

Not wine, I started working for the Shire Council up that way. I will be based near Healesville once I get the heck out of Dodge (Lilydale)

I would try and talk my brother-in-law into a Yak but he loves his stinkboat too much, and he had a heart attack about 2 years ago and isn't really capable of doing much in the way or rowing or paddling.
