Gday Guys,
Visiting the old man today so went for a fish in blackneds Bay just off the swansea channel.

Not much doing, just a couple of small squire.
After a couple of hours i decided to do a speed run up the bay back to the car. I had a micro mullet out the back and wooshka it went off with a bang. I think what i caught is a snook but I am expecting to be proven wrong here, and if you know what it is can you eat them. :?:

Anyway got two of these then thought i'd try my luck with the run in, in the channel, but the Nor easter and the current made it hard going and a few minutes later i was back in blackneds bay heading home.

Cheers Dave

One the money once again RED top stuff.

When i looked it up snook look similar but seem to be a lot larger and are found in the southern states not up here.
The snapper weren't far away a 5cm and a 10cm squire were caught in the same spot. Far too shallow for the big ones, only a couple of metres of water in the center of the channel.

Thanks Dave
