Heya occy,

if the seats are anything like their boats, they will be superb. I saw one being paddled by a beginner here a few months ago.

Amazing hull speed and glide for a fairly standard looking sot. If you get the chance, take one for a walk. I think you might be very surprised.

Does anybody have a link to the bic mob?

Interesting, I'm keen to hear about any seat options that would be worth while for this sort of price. Have been quoted $150 for the Canoe Sports seat, and have seen other brands for around $200.

These guys have the bic kayaks

And here's the home page

Actually it seems that quite a few retailers have the kayaks, but can't find any info on accessories.

I picked up a Bic seat for my swing at a well known brisbane shop at the gabba.
Paid $75 . You might be able to order over the phone or net.
I hope this helps :D

Bonsoir, mes amis. The Bic kayaks are manufactured by a completely different process vs most traditional poly kayaks - which are rotomoulded. The Bic Kayaks are thermo-formed - usually with a higher density polymer (stiffer) - resulting in a thinner wall section - and a lighter kayak. There are a few manufacturers around who use this process - Eskimo, Fiji, Prijon and Pelican for example.
