howdy all

Do you berley when your using soft plastics, lets say your anchored over a reef jiggin SP's for Snapper or Trev's or the like do you still berley with baits or chook pellets. I am about to take a test and use only SP's for my next 6 trips to see how I go.

Berley will still do the trick mate, good luck with it.
My first keeper bream on SPs came on a berley trail of prawn scraps in a very slow current, light weighted plastic just floated down the trail and whack. I don't berley too often as it seems a lot of extra hassle, guess that's why I don't catch a lot of fish. :roll:

I concur with Karl,

I've have had pretty good success of late berleying up from an anchored spot & throwing SP's (and bait) for bream & salmon.
