Hi all.

Im planning to do a trip to awoonga dam sometime in the near future hopefully. i have heard good things about the fishing but know nothing about the camping grounds etc.

can anyone help me out with some information or websites?

Hi Ken,
When were you lookin at heading up there, Fishbrain and I are heading up there from the 30th Oct - 3rd Nov. We will be staying at the Bush Camp about 1 hours drive around the other side of the dam, you have to go out through Calloipe and back down. We had a friend stay there last year and he said we won't have to paddle far to a heap of snags, and he was there for 4 days and he only saw 3 boats.

Thanks for the info jebster... im not sure when ill be heading up there but i doubt it will be as early as november.
