Looking good, Leftieant. Nothing like some new attachment as an excuse to go out for a paddle. :D

Glad I could be of some input. Looks like you have done a good job, well done.
If you liked that idea ya guna flip out over me next Idea. Can't wait to get some time on the tools, but chasing Jacks is getting in the way at the moment.

Looks Good Ant,
I've been thinking of changing mine setup around and mounting the sounder in the center and putting to rod holders on the side.
Did you have trouble reaching the back of the bolts past the foot wells to get a spanner on them and do they get in the way while paddling :?:

What sort of fish do you get down there, I assume you fish on the murray.

Cheers Dave

BTW the transducer mount already looks like being a little difficult, was tricky trying to put it away last night without banging it on the ground. I'll see how it goes, but a better option may be to mount it on the rudder mount with bolt and wing-nut, so it can be removed or repositioned for transport.
Ant wade through some of the recent posts and a couple of the blokes attached it to the rudder so as it was lifted so was the trannie so no disconnecting required

My Old man lived down there for a few years and always talks about fishing the dams near tamgambalanga. Would like to head down that way some time and try the fishing there.
Probably best to wait till it rains thou
Cheers Dave
PS i sure one of those cod will turn up one day :)

On the sounder mount i was waiting to see how andybears internal underwater box mount thingy went (in the DIY section) and was thinking of setting it up like that

Ant the Swing looks great mate  Well done  I thought she needed some trolling mounts up front and agree with what you say about small fish on the back - nothing worse than skulldragging some tiddler for Km's before realising  there a bit sluggish on release to say the least  Love the transducer holder idea - I'm a clutz that's why I used the foam block idea inside ( I knew I would knock it off somewere - would be just a matter of time with me) Happy paddling good luck with the fish mate.
