Lookig for a single yak to do the following in order.
1 Fish in rivers and creeks.
2 explore while not fishing, but also carry the 6 year old daughter.
3 Fish the close reefs in the open waters around the Sunshine Coast.

Would also like it to have plenty of storage, be easy to handle for a first time yaker, option to fit rudder and elec motor.

Could you please give us some ideas and post up some pics of suitable yak's. I like the look of the Viking tempo, but that's about all i've viewed.

Brought the bright blue Macfish rig off him today. Had to ask him about this site as I had lost the url in my favorites [my bad].
All is good, took it for a paddle in Currimundi lake with the daughter sitting in the back no prob's. Had a few prob's with the sounder not reading bottom, but I did fiddle with the settings, so maybe it's a ID10T error. May take the tranducer out and clean it up as macfish must of used $100 worth of silicon to bond it to the inner hull. lol. No wonder he didn't want to throw in the paddle with the sale, had to recoup the $$ spent somehow. lol
Performes well and is nice and stable yak with plenty of room. A little slower than expected and a little heavier too, but ya got to compromise some where with an allrounder.
For what I wan't and the price I paid I'm one happy customer and it suits my needs. Ya think he would of thrown in at least a six pack with the sale, lol, but he drives a hard bargin, and good on him for that. Hope he gets the yak he wants, I know I have.
Thanks.

Gunna have to change the user name now , can't use noboat anymore
I used to have a boat, a stink boat, but then I sold it a long time ago.
So then I had noboat, and then I bought a yak, so I still have noboat, but I do have a yak and I will catch fish again like I did in my boat, but i'll have more fun, more money and a better fittness level as I will do it all out of a yak. lol
So to sum things up, I still have noboat
The end
