Don't listen to those who would have you believe that it was a very good idea of Phil Nelson, who has since passed responsibility for admin & costs to Scott. OK, it is true, but they are not real - just fronts for the joint venture. Any more questions and we, er I mean they, will visit you!

Dooryor, please note that "Peril"/"Dave" is a top secret computerised AI (Artificial Intelligence) watercraft and piscatorial variable response system linked to this forum for reasons of research by the beforementioned North Korean government and Saudi Royal Family. In other words, he (it?) is actually a big brained computer whose role is to keep this forum growing with its enormous programed data on all things fishing and kayaking.
Evidence for "Peril" being AI is simply that if you read the forum you will see from his posts that his level of intelligence is too high for him to be simply human. More evidence: 'Peril' uses long words, knows almost everything, and has never actually been seen on the water. They usually send a "stand in" who says he is "Peril" but we all know.
Don't be fooled by the cute pic of a human in 'Peril's avitar.
