A package arrived today from Mark Newcombe (MCF)
It contained my new 2-6lb rod, as well as a new bottom section with cork grips for the 4-10lb he made for me earlier.
Really, really happy with the way these look and feel.
Now I just have to put a bend in 'em!

The 2-6lb model. 6'8", 93g.
And the stump puller. 4-10lb, 7', 131g.
Both have the microwave guides and classy looking 2 tone cork grips with an eva hood. Two hook keepers per rod - a small one for hooks and a big one for a tether.

Anyone looking at spoiling themselves with a custom built rod - you'd have rocks in your head not to have a talk with Mark.
