Sure is warming up out there. You chose wisely :)

There are some flats at France Bay just south of the Cabarita Marina that are good for trolling the small hbs. More further south too. In the river proper I think sps are more the go or perhaps downrigging the hbs.

Not trolling, casting. At the shoreline and bouncing it back over any dropoffs. Also around pontoons and marinas. The river is generally too deep for trolling to be an option, unless you're after choppers.

That wind was wicked. Funny, some friends were leaving and I mentioned the impending wind, of which there was no sign. Walked to the other side of the house and it was blowing a gale.
