Unfortunately, due to the change in ownership of this web site and the lack of response by the owners to my requests to remove my email address from all administrative-level notifications and functionality, I have decided to remove my posts on AKFF. Leigh, the "yellowfin pike" looks like what I know as a "long-finned pike", which I know some eat but is generally regarded as bait. How do you cook it?

Excellent work there Red, I must admit personally I am not a huge fan of Pike as i find them a bit bland. Must try your recipe one day perhaps it may sway me!!!

Great report Red, I love reading thiese reports of everyone's especially when I have been chained to home all weekend, they encourage me to plan a trip for the next time I have a couple of days off.

Great read Red; I have also concluded you have a very large set of testicles, I crossed an easy Tweed bar at night in full moon in a 15' runabout one time and fished the night for cobes to 15kgs and other quality reef fish, but didn't have the desire to do it again, and stayed offshore until daylight returned next day before going into minor surf zone for home run through bar
