Fine looking gaff!

Out of interest - what is a good size for a kayak gaff?
This one certainly looks the goods, I figure you wouldn't want it much bigger than this, so I guess my question should be what is the minimum length
gaff you would use on pelagics?
Yak PB's

Bonito 55cm Whiting 32cm
Bream 42cm Luderick 31cm
Flathead 80cm
Kingfish 65cm
Tailor 35cm

Personally id go with 2ft maybe 2.5ft long any shorter you would start getting a bit close to the toothy end of some critters and I went with a 2inch hook for it being usefull to use on snapper to but if its for bigger pelagics like wahoo a bigger hook size might work a little better
