RAM ball that fits scotty gear head?

Postby YakDonga » Mon May 19, 2014 10:54 pm

Gday All,

Im buying a lowrance elite 4 and was thinking of how im fitting it to the yak. I have a Slayer 13 and want to use the side rails to fit it. I was thinking of getting the mounting kit like this

http://slhobie.com.au/gear/mounts/189-r ... er-mount-3

Is there a fitting that has just a ram ball on top of the gear track fitting? Even better if they can do one with 2 balls, as I want to get the ram mount transducer arm that goes down the side of the yak. Does anyone know where in aus I can get these things from?

Sorry for the dumb questions but im a novice with this stuff and the search function is not helping :)

Thanks for your time.

Regards,

Donga

Hit up the Aussie distributors, Southern Insight. They may be able to help you out. I've bought directly from them before.

I have ram balls attached to my track system on my Tarpon 140:

Thanks for your advice guys. Ended up getting the screwball and fish finder mount from SLHobie. Called a couple of times today and they were very helpful. I love it when you get great customer service. I also got the Lowrance scupper kit but found it is useless for my Slayer.
