Watch out for this error!

Postby andybear » Sat Apr 05, 2014 2:33 pm

Hi all,
Believe it or not, I actually went for a paddle yesterday.
My trip had a moment of extreme anger, when I switched on my Sony (camera) HDR-AS15, and its new remote RM-LVR1 and found they would not work.
For 20 minutes or so, I sodded around with this camera and remote, trying to pair them, but it would not work no matter what I did. I then tried to just make the best of a bad thing, and just turn the camera on, and let it go at that. but no, the camera would not work at all.

I was particularly peeved, because I had been giving it a thorough testing at home, and charged them both up, and formatted the card.......
Finally at the end of the trip, I opened the camera, and noted that the micro SD card was at a bit of an angle......not inserted properly, not easy with someone with poor eyesight to see. I gave it a tap in, and lo! it paired within seconds.

I mention this, not because a great number of our forum use this particular camera, more about watch out for these little suckers, in anything that uses them.

Footnote, the Evo still has no blood on the deck. I feel that will be righted in the near future :D :D

Cheers all andybear :D :D
