Got the word that the pinkies were on the chew at Depot....so bright and early Sat morning I was off with bells on, myself and Mr Lewis rocked up about 1.00pm where we met Stewie,Squidder and I'm sorry I cant remember your name ! who was off to clean his bag of beautiful fish!! so things were looking up....after a gracefull launch(not!) I cruised out to fishy looking water, I was trying some new Strike Tiger plastics in the blue pearl colour and started getting hits straight away, one great run, head shakes and a big smile on my dial then gone...dropped the buggar @$%&!!! then it all went quiet and stayed that way till sunset with one angry looking pike all I managed to boat :( the others didnt fare any better :( should have been there Friday!!....and while wating for my caffine injection this morning the old barrista proudly told me he'd boated 4 snapper,3 kingies and two jewies at Long Reef Sat arvo    , Oh well there's always next time....

Hi nanook, it can be like that down here mate. Sad to hear you missed out... but, the bright side is that they are still there for me.... :D

Just a question, from where did you travel? To leave early and arrive at 1pm seems a long trip, the guys who come down regularly from Canberra are on the water around 8am.

Nice catch Squidder... good job. I have just ordered the secret weapon, which I feel, will decimate the Snap population around the Bay area.... Ill post once I have the proof..... 8)
Cheers
