Nah the only snags in West Lakes are shopping trolleys lol.... the 10lb leader helps get it back if it does snag on the bottom.... the only other things to watch out for are chains for pontoons...

Reminds me of when I lived in England seeing guys with hundred of pounds worth of gear (14 ft carbon fibre reelless "poles", electronic bite indicators) sitting in the rain trying to catch stuff smaller than the lures I now use, having to avoid spots where the carcases of decaying shopping trolleys were traps for the unwary.
