Canberra bound for coupla weeks

In case anybody tries to contact me, I'll be in Canberra (brrrrrr) for the next two weeks doing some serious grand-parenting... flying down 29 Jun returning 15 Jul...

Must have rocks in my head going to that cold hole mid-winter, but haven't seen the grandies for couple of years, so that's the plan.

Please leave some fish for me... I will be back and suffering from withdrawal symptoms as I won't be taking fishing tackle with me... grandies are top priority this time round.

Trev... I hope that all goes well with the op, and that they actually do it this time.

I've heard that they're also great to eat, BB, but that was coming from people who thought that trout were good to eat, so that info could be a trifle doubtful.

if youre heading down anyway, do you want to take the trainload of gold we queenslanders send down every week.
you know , since we provide most of the coal, 1/2 the beef, all the sugar, 80 % of the winter vegetables.all the aluminium,most of the tourism

and our tourism, the reef provided by nature, the gold coast built with the entreprenuership and private investment.

course there's some good tourist sites in canberra. (all built on the taxes of the productive states)

the mint, should be in WA, they do most of the mining
the national gallery, should be in SA , the arts capital
the war memorial , should be in darwin,
the institute of sport, should be in brisbane or the gold coast, cant see why all those brisbane swim stars have to head to ice world to train.

make sure you drop off our taxes brother jim. wouldnt want to see them have to start some private industry of their own.

come on now hubsters, explain why the rest of the country pays for all the tourist sites to be in your city.
