Watch out for shrinkage when it's cold ! . Hawkesbury Jew

Been too long off the water recovering from a knee reco , so today was D-day for a fish. Awesome sunny conditions & no sign of the forcast 20 knot winds , Happy Days !! :D

Made my way to a spot on the Hawkesbury, very little boat traffic out, so I was looking forward to enjoying spot " choo choo train ;-) " to myself .

Thankfully , the fish played the game and right on que they came on the chew but I must have been asleep at the wheel as I missed way too many bumps , I did how ever eventually manage to hook a few, only issue was they were all Babies :( Must have been shrinkage in the cold water  One wasn't much bigger than the plastic !

Looks like a fun way to return to the sport. How's the knee feel after the reco? I reckon I'm headed for one of those down the track.
Cheers, Sam

The knee feels great ( stable again ), muscle fatigue and wastage is an issue so will be a slow steady process back to actual 100% but atleast I'm back fishing :D

Must feel good to know you can trust the knee.
That first shot is a ripper. You see big hand shots all the time but man you have an enormous thumb.
Cheers Gary

Good to see the knee reco’s going well, Brent.

 Thanks Tom

But in my defence, it's been a while since I'd seen some action. In hind sight, maybe those 2'"gulp prawns did look a little too like lollies
