From my place to litle gibler = 92km = 1h24min - cons: surf launch
From my place to seal rocks caravan park = 134km = 2h02min pros: no surf & bait school close,

So if we lock it in, I might camp the weekend and peddle each day around to the light house, to your point X - mick
(Note : Mike please pm me co-ordinats of point x......)
You won't catch em' sitting at home

I would also camp at Treachery - top spot - or on the beach at Lighthouse - it's only illegal if u get caught lol.

Surf launches suck!

I'm happy to give Seal Rocks a go if the timing works out for me.

I plan to be there on Sunday but it will probably just be a very early start for me with a long drive to get there before daylight.

Okay, so far we have:
Louis (Gamefisher) - Yes
Shane (Rural) - probably only Sunday
Me - Yes
Bludymick - undecided
Micky marlin - undecided

Why stay at Seals Rocks Holiday Park instead of Treachery - Im guessing this is because we launch from Boat Beach not lighthouse?

With the time of year, I might also take my spear gear up for the middle of the day as the westerlies at this time of year usually make nice spearing!!

Just looked, check in is ok at 2pm, but checkout is 10am! What about camping on Lighthouse beach (I know its not allowed but if we sleep in the back of the cars, we can say we are beach fishing and not camping and that we intend to leave once finished!?) Just thinking, that would mean we don't have to hurry back from fishing to make sure we check out on time.

I have not been out on my kayak in a very long time, but have just moved into a house on Chittaway Bay and will be getting out on the lake as often as I can to get back into things. I will not sign up for this trip as I don't know what I am up to yet, but am going to be keen on some more trips as the weather starts to warm up again this year.
