cudgerra creek?

just wanderring if anyone has taken the yak on cudgerra creek, where that guy has a kayak hire business on the bank at pottsville? if so how was the fishin and how was the water?

i was on a family holiday there a couple of years ago and a man snorkelling there at the time said he saw nearly 3foot flatties swimming in with the tide.

Fished there a few times. Good Flatties and Bream. I found the best was to launch near the bridge at Pottsville a couple of hours before the top of the tide and fish up the creek (choice of going left or right) till the top of the tide then work the run-out back to the launch area. SP`s and small HBs work well.

cheers silver19 sounds good :D hopefully my mate and his gf will be keen for a trip down there so i have someone to go with. sorry dont even know what SP's and small HB's are????

Soft Plastics and Hard Body lures mate and go it alone if ya have too...nothing better than not having to worry about what other people are doing you get to just enjoy it (plus more fish for yourself).

ah right haha is there a thread on the common terms used on here that noobs should be familiar with in order to understand what most of you guys are talking about. so far ive picked up SIT and SOT etc.... but im sure there are many more abbreviations thsat could be explained in a thread :) and thats a good point too :) more fish for me :lol:

Dw I still don't know what half the talk is on here. There is an akff dictionary around somewhere just search for it or go to the main akff site (akff.net) it's on there I think.
