Here's my take, bodgied from JF's post.
3 fish to be registered for each player, each of any species.
Scores for each fish as a % of the current HOF 1st place fish as at the start of comp.
Your 3 scores will be added together, but total team scores averaged by number of "players" for your team.
Highest score for each state gets double points BEFORE averaging of team points. (In lieu of "captain")
Unlimited players per team, but must nominate before start of comp period.
Bonus points for the largest fish of each species caught in the comp period. The angler catching the largest fish of the comp for each species will earn their state 3 bonus points AFTER the average scores have been worked out for each team. (Given the points per state should average between 50 and 70 (x3 if not averaged to per fish) at a guess, 10 points per fish is too much I think).
100 points max per fish registered except for biggest fish as above.
Estimates are OK for C&R fish. Be honest.
12AM origin one = starting date, 11:59PM origin 3 = finish date.
Legal size only needed if not released. Must be within season though.
All fish to be caught from a kayak / ski / canoe.
All fish caught to be stated in SOO thread within 1 day of capture to prevent a bombardment of fish at the end of the comp supposedly caught earlier in the comp. Allows the "score" to be displayed as the game progresses. Thoughts?
Is each state maximum total to be 100 (state average divided by 3 fish) or 300? (state average for 3 fish). This makes a difference to how many bonus points you should get for biggest fish. So if each angler is given a total out of 300 and then state score average is out of 300 then I'd suggest the bonus is 10 points per biggest fish. Clear?
