Brays Anzac Day

Postby Lazybugger » Tue Apr 24, 2012 1:00 pm

Weather isn't perfect but the wind is somewhat westerly and the swell should be a major improvement from the weekend. Is anyone else considering going off Brays tomorrow morning?
Cheers

LB Moffs launch is good. Swell dropping again overnight. We were down at the filleting table this arvo and theres no way you could launch off the ramp. Lots of exposed bolts at the bottom of the ramp that would eat a glass yak in an instant. Looks like you would get out off kings beach tomorrow
It will be windy tomorrow but if you can get to the shark nets and chuck a lure out youre a good chance of getting smacked. 20g slugs working too.

The carpark off Bryce Street (look on google maps), park on the left of the ramp. See you in the morning.

Well I saw 2 blokes launching from kings boat ramp as we walked to the dawn service and as we were driving past moffs I watched another 2 paddle out. Couldn't get my crap together and missed out. Surf was good but. Moffs looked like a very easy launch and now I'm keen as to get out there soon!
