Downwind is much easier and I think I can get a bit closer to the wind and also go much faster.
I would expect the AI would be better, as the only 'daggerboard' I have in the Revo is the mirage drive, which is far from ideal.
I'm actually entertaining the idea of building a whacking great daggerboard (about 2.5x the area of the A.I.) that will fit directly into the mirage drive
slot. I remember someone (on the Hobie forum, I think) made a 'sleeve' that fitted over the mirage drive fins and essentially turned them into a much
bigger and more efficient daggerboard.
