No scuppa holes in the back of the Cuda to keep the trolley in while you are fishing !

This is a Cuda we set up with tallon / ram rod holder and tallon / lowrance sounder and plotter.

The plotter is a Marks 4 unit and the transducer is shoot through hull.

Hi Jamie,

Your correct that 2 of the rod staggers are unusable with these fitted, but as you say there are 6 in total.

Its one of the things i like about the jackson range - the fact that they are set up to work many ways, rather than the designer saying your rods will go here and here and thats it. they give you options for your set up.

The customer who This boat was customised for had planned out how they wanted to use their boat and this worked for them, the two outside stagers work with the secured base of the rods in their various locations and the two inner ones work for when you want to drop a rod into the boat on the fly - the rod sits in the stagger but is also held in place by the two tallon ram posts should you take a bigger wobble etc.

These Tallon posts will also simply clip out and leave a flush plate when not in use giving back all 6 staggers.

As far as I know fisheries will book you (at least in nsw) if any fisherman has more than two rods? Perhaps someone can clarify that for me?

Cheers
Ben

Only allowed 2 rigged rods in freshwater and 4 in salt. You can carry as many as you like as long as there are no hooks or lures attached to the additional rods.

Wow, thats really handy info dirty, I can honestly say I didn't know that , I thought the law centered around lines in the water. Thankyou for the heads up
Regards
Jamie :)

Always good to get clarity on information.

Nup. Jamie it is 3 rigged in Qld. So you can have 5 rods, but only 3 rigged (I guess that means terminal tackle). No wonder people get caught out.

Similarly legal sizes:
NSW - Flathead (Dusky) common ....... 36cm, only 1 over 70cm ..... limit 10

QLD - Dusky flathead (mud flathead) 40 cm min, 75 cm max ...... limit 5

No wonder people get caught out. Confusing.
