QLD: Quiet morning at Palmy

Postby ant » Wed Mar 21, 2012 3:05 pm

Well finally the wind has stopped blowing so I thought I'd take the Evo for a spin out the creek and over to the reef. The occasional bigger set coming though but as the picture shows some nice lulls. Paddled around for 2 mac tuna, and saw a boat catch a long tail tuna about 50lb  Water is quite clean, no Spaniards or spotties today but it was pleasant to be back on the water :D .

Damn it looks good there! I had a go at Hastings Point this morning and it was pretty solid with big black waves trying to kill me.
End result was steak for tea again :(
