SA: Dusk and Dawn Delights - a quest for metro SP snapper

This is probably the wrong section but for eating nothing beats my wife's saffron flavoured Swedish fish soup. I have the job of getting the ingredients and we have found that chunky fish work best. So I am given instructions - go and get 2 or 3 snapper and a couple of decent flathead. Mutter, grumble, a man has to do what a man has to do.........

I cooked some snapper fillets the other night for the wife. Marinated in ginger, chilli sauce, soy, olive oil and rice wine then sprinkled with spring onions and coriander before grilling under high heat. Went down well with rice and a salad.

Nice work Andy, whilst some of us are slaving away you are doing what you do well. I need to arrange my life a lot better. Love the SP for Snapper, haven't had much luck, only small ones. Have you tried Lucanis jigs?

I headed off to Tassie the day Andy started this wonderful run of brilliant fishing and great results.
I now know how a pokie addict feels when he leaves the machine he has just pumped his savings into.
However, re Andy being amongst it, it couldn't have happened to a nicer fellow.

Have you tried Lucanis jigs?

Good suggestion Adrian - have got one but have not tried fishing it for a long time. Must give it another go.

I have tried them but never had an enquiry. I think that they are best as deep water lured and I am really fishing in over 10 m. Anyone else?
