Southport Seaway north wall Sunday

Postby Twinsrule » Sat Feb 18, 2012 9:30 am

Was thinking of heading to the north wall of the seaway for the high tide tomorrow morning and was wondering if anyone had been there recently or was considering going. How well has it been fishing and is it too busy on a Sunday?
Cheers, Matt

I havnt fished it for a while but it will be busy for sure. Just be carefull when crossing the chanel. If you don't have any luck there try the sand banks around wave break.

You're near mad IMO if you're in a yak in the seaway on a weekend. I'll only ever venture out there midweek. Too many boats, and a low lying yak in some morning glare is damn dangerous. The sandbanks around wavebreak may not bring the same fish, but far safer...
